Lining Up The Shot
I've fallen behind on my regular posting schedule lately, largely due to the demands of my full-time job and the increasing number of drone flights for real estate. Tonight, when my neighbor invited me for a nighttime kayaking trip to view the moon from the lake, I decided to leave my expensive camera gear at home. It wasn’t out of fear of tipping over or dropping my camera, but rather a desire to enjoy the moment with minimal pressure. I wanted to keep things simple and capture the experience using just my iPhone.
Using just my iPhone, I carefully positioned my kayak to capture these two photos. For the first, I adjusted the exposure to emphasize the dramatic colors. In the second, brighter shot, I allowed the iPhone to automatically set the exposure, resulting in a more natural light balance.
