Photography Tips and Trick - 56 (Acclimate Your Camera)

Brr.  Is it cold where you are?  It is currently about 14 Fahrenheit or -10 Celsius and taking my camera outside is going to result in a frost over on my lens due to the rapid change in temperature.   If you are going to snap a few photos in your backyard and have a garage put your camera in your garage about 15 minutes before going outside to give it time to acclimate before you go out for your photoshoot.

If you are driving somewhere, once you arrive park your vehicle and put your camera on the roof of your car, and sit inside the warmth for about 10 to 15 minutes.  Don't use the hood of your car because there will be heat from the engine.
