Photography Tips and Tricks - 63 (Preventing Motion Blur)

Slow shutter speeds can result in motion blur.  So even at faster shutter speeds practice good posture to minimize camera shake.  Here are a few tips for minimizing handheld camera shake.

  • Stand on a stable surface

  • Lean against an immovable object (like a wall)

  • Use both hands

  • Press your elbows against your chest

  • Hold your breath

  • Press your shutter
