Dress for the shoot is important.  If you are doing a portrait shoot, then I don't need to tell you much.  Dress for success.  Wildlife Photography on the other hand is different.  The animals don't care about your success and don't really want to see you.  So, avoid bright clothes.  If possible wear camouflage like the military.  But if that is not available, then blacks or browns will work well.
